Darlene Briggs Marine Industry Woman of the Year Scholarship

New For 2025: Scholarship opportunity to accompany the Darlene Briggs Woman of the Year Award.

All-new for 2025, the MRAA Educational Foundation will award a woman in leadership or aspiring to a leadership position, with the Darlene Briggs Marine Woman of the Year Scholarship, in honor of the Woman of the Year Award recipient.  This scholarship will offer tuition reimbursement amounting to up to $3,000 for woman to attend a leadership program. The Foundation will consider course requests, and we also have three pre-approved, recommended courses you can choose from: The American Management Association’s Women’s Leadership Certificate Program; the Yale School of Management Women’s Leadership Program; and the Dale Carnegie Women’s Leadership Academy.
