All-new for 2025, the MRAA Educational Foundation will award a woman in leadership or aspiring to a leadership position, with the Darlene Briggs Marine Woman of the Year Scholarship, in honor of the Woman of the Year Award recipient.  This scholarship will offer tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 for a female to attend a leadership program.

The Foundation has provided a list of pre-approved, recommended courses you can choose from:

• American Management Association’s Women’s Leadership Certificate Program;
• Yale School of Management Women’s Leadership Program;
• Dale Carnegie Women’s Leadership Academy.

The recipient may also submit a course of their choosing to the Educational Foundation for up to $3,000 reimbursement.
