The Duane Spader Leadership Development Scholarship, established in 2013, honors Duane Spader’s dedication to the marine industry and his philosophy of lifelong learning. This scholarship aims to help current and aspiring dealership leaders excel in their roles. Recipients receive tuition to attend the Spader Leadership Development Program, which spans 15-18 months and includes five three-day sessions. Open to MRAA members in good standing, applicants must work in a marine dealership, complete an online application, submit an essay, and provide letters of recommendation. Recipients must also commit to the program’s time and travel requirements.
