MRAA Succession Scorecard
Thank you for your interest in MRAA’s Succession Planning Scorecard, offered as part of our Succession Planning Toolkit.
This 100-question self-assessment should take you about 15 minutes to complete. It is available to MRAA members as a benefit of membership. At the end, you will receive an overall score based on the self-assessment, and MRAA will be alerted to begin preparing a custom report for you.
The custom report we’ll provide you breaks your score down into the nine categories of the scorecard and provides specific recommendations for ways that you can further develop your foundation for success and succession in each of these areas.
These 9 scorecard categories are based on the 10 factors of The Succession Matrix®, developed by the International Succession Planning Association in conjunction with its founding member, The Rawls Group and fully explored in the book, The Succession Matrix®, by Loyd Rawls.

This scorecard exercise began with 92 questions selected by The Rawls Group from the International Succession Planning Association’s Succession Planning Assessment®.
It was then adapted for the marine dealer community by MRAA alongside The Rawls Group, Spader Business Management (now NCM Associates) and Bellavia Blatt PC as a tool to help you prepare for what’s ahead.
