Repair event cycle times (RECT) at U.S. marine dealerships continued to decrease in March.
- The average RECT decreased to 45 days, 11 days quicker than February.
- The average RECT in March was the slowest March average in the last 8 years.
The RECT for the main bottlenecks — warranty coverage and out-of-stock parts — was mixed in March.
- Work orders with warranty coverage averaged 82 days, 6 days faster than February’s average.
- Out-of-stock part work orders averaged 72 days, 6 days quicker than February’s average.
