Created to unite and utilize a strength-in-numbers approach to amplifying the dealer voice. Through a collaborative effort, the MRAA Dealer Ambassador Program engages constituents on state and local issues that threaten the business of recreational boating.
Stand Up for Your Business, Industry & Customers
The MRAA Dealer Ambassador Program is an opportunity for MRAA members to stand up in support of their business, their industry and their customers. MRAA advocacy staff will work with our Dealer Ambassadors to provide you with the training, information, and expertise to be your own best advocate with a focus on local and state issues. As a Dealer Ambassador, you are the first line of defense for the recreational boating industry; no one else will be better positioned to respond to local threats to boating access, safety issues for your customers, or opportunities to improve local boating infrastructure.
Dealer Ambassadors are the bridge between the industry and their local communities.
MRAA Dealer Ambassadors serve as a grassroots, frontline team of representatives who can provide immediate, direct comment and action to influence MRAA advocacy priorities. Furthermore, Dealer Ambassadors keep in regular contact with the MRAA Government Relations Team to ensure that we can respond to any issues in your area that impact your business or recreational boating at large.

Your State Updates
When legislation or regulations affecting the recreational boating industry arise, you’ll be the first to know. As an expert in your business, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape MRAA’s response.
Resource Access
Provide in-depth write-ups on industry issues to strengthen our positions and gain broader support. We will share solutions from other regions facing similar challenges and tailor them to your needs.
Advocacy Training
Represent the MRAA and recreational boating industry’s legislative priorities to elected officials, regulatory officials, and MRAA membership at events.
Responsiveness
Provide timely feedback to MRAA advocacy staff requests and advocacy matters – we need YOUR input to craft the best solutions for your issues.
Using Your Voice
Be willing and able to speak with members of Congress, State Legislatures, and local officials. Provide written testimony, sign off on prepared opinion editorials, and insight into industry challenges.
Support Your Industry
Represent MRAA and the boating industry’s legislative priorities to officials and members at events. Promote MRAA advocacy and encourage member and nonmember participation.
